Surgery Room

					Angie is performing hydrotherapy on Daisy Lange. Daisy is an 11 year old schnauzer. Hydrotherapy is a daily procedure where water is flushed over an open sore, for long periods of time. That procedure aggravates the open skin to encourage new skin growth. Daisy's family says she is not a very good patient at home, so she comes daily for her treatments. She has been a perfect patient here.

					Angie, our Inventory Specialist, is researching products online. Angie's dedication to finding the latest and most current drugs on the market allow us here at Bay View Vet to care for your pets with the best medications possible.
					Tana and Theresa are prepping Grace Alexander with an IV catheter for her surgical procedure. An IV catheter is placed into a patient's leg, just like a person would receive for surgery. For patients undergoing general anesthesia, we recommend intravenous fluids during the procedure. An IV catheter and fluids help maintain blood pressure, oxygen perfusion and assist the body in processing anesthetic medicines more efficiently.
